As a Finance Manager you will play a key role in helping management make informed financial decisions. The role supports the Chief Financial Officer and executive management team by providing financial guidance. This will involve analysing and presenting on financial strengths and weaknesses, identifying and managing financial risks and exploring opportunities for increasing revenue and reducing costs.
To become a Finance Manager, it is recommended that you hold bachelor degree or higher in a related field, in addition to having experience in the industry.
Complete a bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, mathematics or business management.
Many employers now seek candidates with a master's degree, preferably in business administration, finance, or economics.
As well as a degree you’ll also need to gain several years’ experience in the financial field in order to become a Finance Manager.
