Job Description
A Trainer and Assessor specialises in teaching adult students or training staff members. They may work in a technical and further education (TAFE) institute or polytechnic, or within a workplace. They usually specialise in one or more chosen fields of study.

Qualifications
To become a Trainer and Assessor, you will need to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You may be required to hold further qualifications in your chosen field, as well as industry–relevant skills and knowledge.
Complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Complete a Certificate IV or higher in your chosen field(s).
Consider completing the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.
Undertake Continuing Professional Development, including attending work–related courses and conferences.
