Job Description
Spare Parts Interpreters determine customer requirements and advise on a product range, price, delivery, warranties and product use and care. The deal directly with trade related customers and the public over the phone, via a company website and over the counter. They identify parts using online catalogues, processing and preparing sales orders, and receiving and distributing orders. They assist with stock control while maintaining a tidy and organised workspace. Most advertised roles will require some industry experience and knowledge of the automotive and spare parts industry, however, trainee roles can become available if a company is willing to provide support and training opportunities.
