Merchandiser
Job Description
Merchandisers plan, coordinate and install promotional displays in retail stores. They install displays that follow seasonal change and current promotions offered by the retailer. They are responsible for the layout, display lighting and any other visual aspects of an in–store promotion.

Qualifications
It is possible to work as a Merchandiser without formal qualifications, although completing a Diploma of Visual Merchandising or similar qualification may be an advantage. A strong interest in retail is beneficial.
Build your relevant experience in the retail industry in a Sales Assistant or similar role.
Consider completing a Diploma of Visual Merchandising or similar qualification.
