Job Description

Brand Ambassadors are employed by companies to boost sales and present a brand in a positive light in a public facing capacity. They act as a spokesperson and deploy a range of promotional strategies which raise a brand’s public profile, including event marketing, public speaking, social media marketing, blogging and vlogging, TV and radio commercials, and sponsorship cross-promotions.

Qualifications

It is possible to work as a Brand Ambassador without formal qualifications, however many employers prefer individuals to have qualifications in the field of communications. An extensive social media following, or public presence is also beneficial.

Complete a qualification in communications. This could be a Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication, a Diploma of Marketing and Communication, or a Bachelor degree majoring in Media and Communication.
