Mining and Drilling Assistants assist with labour and operations associated with mining and drilling. Physical labour is required and workers should be able to perform safety and health precautions while performing tasks.

You can work as a Driller, Miner or Shot Firer without formal qualifications, however, they may be useful. Training is available through VET (Vocational Education and Training).
