Qualifications
To work as a Project Manager in Australia, you will generally be expected to have a project management certification or qualifications in a related field.
Consider completing a Certificate IV in Project Management Practice. This certificate will prepare you to work as a part of a project team.
If you’d like to gain further skills and pursue a higher qualification, consider completing a Diploma of Project Management or a Bachelor of Business (Management). Duration and entry requirements can vary depending on the provider.
Complete a certification, such as the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Register for national accreditation at the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). The AIPM require different criteria depending on the level you wish to register for
