Job Description
An ESO is a fully qualified emergency response and / or medical professional who works in a variety of industries including maritime, power and mining, defence, aviation, construction and other resource sectors. This is a multi-skilled role covering security, fire, rescue and medical. Training can also form part of an ESO’s responsibility.

Hours
ESO’s generally work in teams comprising 2 to 4 operators on 12 hour shifts. Service provision is generally 24/7 365 days a year.
Qualifications
Health Care qualifications. This could be a Certificate IV in Health Care or
Diploma of Paramedical Science
Cert II in Emergency Service
Occupational First Aid
Confined Spaces Training
TAE Cert IV Trainer Assessor Certification
Work Safely at Heights
Certificate III Mines Emergency Response & Rescue
Alcohol and Other drugs testing certification
