Bank Tellers service and assist customers of a bank over the counter at various branches.

You will need to complete a higher school certificate or equivalent or gain 2 or more years’ experience in a customer service environment. Additionally you may like obtain a Certificate IV in Financial Services. You could also complete an undergraduate degree in a finance-related field, which are usually full-time courses over three years.

You might like to also apply for an Australian Credit Licence (ACL), through the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
